John Deere X584/X590 reviews

Considering buying either of these, be grateful for any user reviews, particularly in terms of long term reliability, any issues etc. Also as we will be using exclusively as a mulcher , performance/finish have heard the cut grass tends to clump again

Cable fix

Anyone used these?  Described as a  Dog Leg Z Cable end (Amazon),  it appears to screw onto the broken end of the cable so it can be re-fixed to the throttle/clutch/gear handle.  At £2.60 each I will get a few for the toolbox. Would be a lot quicker
