Looking for the widest push mower that collects

Hi all! I use a Toro turfmaster mower for some large grass cutting jobs however I have recently had some issues with it and wish to try an alternative. Does anyone know of a wide push mower that does cut + collect like the Toro - the turfmaster's cutting width is 76cm / 29" and i'm looking for something as wide or even wider :-)!!

Any recommendations would be really appreciated!

Thanks! Joe

  • Thank you David. I'm looking for a rotary mower as the jobs I have are quite rough and cut quite high. It's for the surrounds of some communal blocks, those sorts lawns.

  • Scag have just brought out a 30" mower that collects, but im not 100% if its in the uk market yet.

    • Hi kieran thanks for this. I've looked into the scag and done quite some research yesterday, called SFC30. I've made some calls, a supplier I know will be getting some of the first batch in November and I'll getting one of those. Thanks!

    Hi Joe,

out of interest what issues have you had with your Toro?

I have a timemaster and love it best mower I've ever owned.

    • Hi Clive. I use theTurfmaster, it just seems to struggle sometimes if the grass is a little thicker or longer. The engine splutters recently and it's been in and out the machanic a number of times. We also had an issue with chipped cogs on the inside of the wheel that jammed them - luckily this was under warranty. Maybe it was just bad luck with the one we got!
