There are battery powered ones! Makita holds up to 130Kg
Tracked barrows are slow. Ive got a muck truck which is useful some of the time. They do an electric one as well which might be more useful on domestics due to noise. British company too. Check them out.
I had a look at the Makita cordless barrow on their stand at Saltex two years ago, the first impression is it looks good, but it gets slated on reviews because it doesn’t fully empty bin onto the ground, apparently it needs someone to finish emptying it with a shovel, I cannot confirm that as I have never actually tried one.
There were comments about the width across the wheels and getting them through gates or doors.
I think a powered barrow could be one of those things worth hiring for a job to try before buying.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I was using the zipper md 500 on a landscaping job last week. For the price its a no brainer, and quick too, I think new here it's €2500 vat included. Which would be grand if I only did landscaping all year. Lumag do a whole range too but I better do more research before jumping!!..
Thanks for the feedback
