190m of hedge trimming

Hello all,

pricing up 190 meters of hedge cutting. About 8 ft, not been touched since last year. I'm thinking £875 + £100 for waste.

Auger or bulb planter

Got a job I hate this Autumn, planting bulbs.

They are going in soil not turf, we have a bulb planter but find it difficult to use so considering a hand earth auger. Do have a petrol posthole borer but the augers are too large for bulbs. Any thoughts

Telescopic step ladders

Looking at Telescopic step ladders specifically for hedge trimming and pruning at height .

Main reason my henchman is far too long to fit on top of my new smaller vehicle and the telescopic step ladders actually work out cheaper than fitting roof bars

Hedge trimming costs

Hello all,

we've got a hedge trimming job to price up. 72 meters, 35 meters are about 8 foot. The rest is about 5. Cherry laurel and beech. 
We're going to go £360 + £40 for waste disposal. Is this about the going rate?

grass cutting

how is the grass cutting going i dont do many now, bu the ones i do have onley been cut once in 6 weeks, even my own has gon 4 weeks and that was just to cut the seed heads off at a high setting also do people still have the lawns fed in the drought
