We used to run wheeled honda pro's the drive shaft was in 2 halves, a male and female joined in middle by a roll pin going through both halves and had a clip around both shafts to stop the roll pin which is solid steel by the way coming out are you sure its not just the pin that has come out, by the clip failing? I'm assuming that its a similar set up on the hrd?
Don't think it would be possible to break the shaft................ it'll be a univeral joint at the end probably You need to start the engine and look at the shaft to work out whats happening to work out whats going on.
thank you for re response after looking into it more on my mower it seems to have broke the shaft that spins from the engine
Well at least that should be a cheap repair. Very surprised though.................. have you actually located the break in the shaft?
Are you sure? Is the shaft in 2 halves as I described in my previous post with the pin coming out?
i'll upload a picture mate am not to much clever wjem it comes to lawn mowers
are you able to messsage me privately mate see if i can send it that way it says it to big to upload. it looks like it's broken on the actual pin maybe a mm behind the pin (engine side)
