Charging VAT

Hi All

We have just gone vat registered and the accountant has gone on holiday!

When quoting do we add everything up ex VAT then add on at the end or inc VAT then add it on ??

Our matrieals are £1050 inc VAT ( £840 ex VAT)

Petrol Road Tax, is this fair to pay?
