  Thanks, Robbie. An excellent bit of kit. However, at the moment, cost too much for me. One of the reasons I am looking at the Ford. Granted, it won't have the attachment with it.

    Can you unclip the hose and attach a lance/turbo for edging, or a fan nozzle for softer stone? Can't see this being that great for general cleaning work. A FSC weighs a lot less than 86kg and is so easy to use.

      It has an inbuilt Lance for normal ‘jet washing’ and already having an SS FSC, a Rotoclense is far easier to use on larger areas.

      Depends what you mean by "general cleaning". Used in walk-behind mode the machines produce an even standard of clean across large areas. The nozzles point almost vertically downwards so are good at cleaning pitted surfaces, such as tarmac, or pimpled surfaces such as running track. They are supplied with a 9m, high pressure hose and pressure-adjustable lance. A turbo lance is available as an extra, as is a rotary brush and a chewing gum lance. All the lances are quick-change using a connector similar to those used for compressed air.

  Thanks, Gary. That is certainly one to think about. Depends how much hiring one costs. I only had 2 jobs last year and my Karcher did the job well. It was just a pain with electric. I will investigate the cost of hiring after Christmas.
