I see at long last that there is a swelling of movement against fake grass being laid in private gardens.

Laying a sheet of green plastic grass over the ground kills off all insect life and makes the ground sterile, makes the area under the fake grass

Chainsaw McCulloch MAC838 Not Starting

Replace a lawn

So the lawn was originally planted on a gravel bed. The client wants a beautiful green sward of turf.

My idea is to remove the top 6 inches of soil, put down a barrier, to stop the stones rising, refil with screened topsoil and add turf.
