K-REND COSTS

Hi All,

Does anybody have any idea on the cost of K-rend? I am looking to have a seat (solid concrete blocks) rendered for a client in white. It is about 4sqm of surface and 18m of beading?

What would be the typical cost for supply and install. I have been quoted £500.00

Thanks

A quick google says you should be looking at around £30-£70 per meter depending where you are.

    • Thanks Dave,

I never trust the google figures as' where you' are makes a huge difference. I have a mate that has just been screwed over by a client using these figures which bare no relation to the prices in the area he was working in. Even though he had accepted the price he then refused to pay him.

    Hi Graeme

We rendered the back of my house last year with K Rend - I'm just a landscaper but my right hand man was a plasterer so he did the technical bit.

I would say that £500 would probably be a fair rate for your job as it is quite small , so you will be paying for a days labour even though its probably only about 3 hrs work albeit witha lot of waiting inbetween applying it and scraping it off. Curing time will be longer at this time of year.

    Cheers
