What spray nozzles do you use for spot spraying?

We use yellow solid/full cone nozzles. That said, you can't find them for love nor money it seems. Why? They are perfect for spot spraying, particularly if using a spray shield in borders. My Cooper Pegler dealer says most people use fan jets- to me
