Isle of Wight Query

Evening all,

My in-laws live in Shanklin, and are getting to the stage where the maintenance of their modestly sized garden is becoming too much for them. If I were closer I would offer my services, but I ain't.

Their initial reaction is to have all the plants removed and import a sea of gravel, but we are trying to convince them to keep what they have & have someone come in from time to time to help with the upkeep. There is no lawn, just 2 or 3 smallish borders with shrubs and perennials, and a couple of small trees (Acer & Pear from memory).

What I'm looking for at this point is to make contact with  a reliable and knowledgeable gardener so that we can discuss a proposed schedule.

Anyone out there from across the water interested?

Sean
