Guidance on buying a trailer

Hi I am looking to buy a trailer fairly soon. It must be caged 4 ft wide and between 6-8ft long. I have my trailer license, I shouldn't be towing more than a ton at a time. Does this trailer have to be braked? I've seen a few on eBay for around £900
