Founded in 2008. The Landscape Juice Network (LJN) is the largest and fastest growing professional landscaping and horticultural association in the United Kingdom.
Don't mean to hijack another designer's discussion but it sounded like a good idea at the time!
If any of you landscape contractors out there need the services of an experienced garden designer (and landscaper!) to produce plans/visuals to sell your schemes to your Client - please consider me.
As you can see from my portfolio below, all my drawings are done to the highest standard using the latest CAD technology.
Best of all, I can offer my design/visualisation services nationally via. the internet/email/post.
All you would have to provide me with is accurate site dimensions/survey sketch, digital photos and the Client's Brief. I will do the rest.
My unique selling point is that I can do all of this quickly at very competitive rates (probably a lot more competitive than your local Garden Design gliterati !) - so, please feel free to Contact Me if you have any project (big or small that you feel that I may be able to help you/your Clients with.
PLEASE PRESS THE CENTRAL ARROW BELOW TO PLAY THE 'SLIDE-SHOW' - THEN CLICK ON ANY IMAGE TO INCREASE IT'S SIZE AND READ MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THAT PROJECT.
ive had a better idea just a question to phil is there any way of making it possible to search for your local designer or landscaper or gardener on here like being able to view a map with each profession so when a landscaper needs a local designer they can contact them and visa versa also if a landscaper or designer is asked for a recomendation of a gardener for maintence it could be a great way of making networking easier and passing on work to fellow landscape juice members
find a tradesman thingy? is that active? where is it or is it in the pipeline

Most of the completed work you see on my portfolio has been constructed with my "fair" hands inc. Site Clearance, Setting Out, Groundworks, Paving, Fencing, Planting, Turfing and Mulching. The more specialist work I normally get involved in i.e. installing steelwork and timber decking I get assistance with but I still do all the labouring i.e. digging out post holes, concreting and deck staining/"screwing up" etc. I also do all the material procurement and scheduling etc. and organise/project manage all sub-contractors.
My design Clients, therefore benefit from the above "hands on" knowledge which is integrated into my designs.
Yesterday, I was staining "feathered edge" fence pales in a garage ready for installation (I've 570 no. to do!). Today, I am digging off turf (in massive 200x300x250mm clumps) by HAND ready for the installation of a gravel driveway.
P.s. I'm having to cycle to site too as my car's cam belt disintegrated on me yesterday!
Any Design Work, Anybody :-(

David , you do very nice Designs, do you actually do the work, the labour that is... starting and finishing the Garden???
I'd just like to say that I also do SketchUp models and PhotoShop renderings, by correspondence. I'm happy to work on images for someone elses design etc. I know I live in another country, but it comes to the same thing these days.
Erm, as previously mentioned, I generally personally implement ALL the "hands on" construction of my designs (including Planting, Turfing And Mulching)!
If the "Hardworks" are to be implemented by someone else on behalf of the Client, then sometimes the Client will ask me back at the end of the job to add the finishing touches i.e. topsoiling, prep. soil, turfing, laying weed-suppressing membrane, planting, gravelling or mulching. I take it, that you are not that busy at the moment with Design work????
Do you proceed in digging up and planting the Garden that you have Designed, or are you just a Designer???
