I have been successfully trading as a self-employed Garden Designer and Landscape Contractor in the Hull, East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire region since 2004. Initially trained by Landscape Architects on large Commercial projects up to £250 in value, I now offer a full garden design service to mainly private Domestic clients. I use the latest 3D Computer Aided Design software to produce my designs and my service is fast, accurate, professional and AFFORDABLE. With many years practical "hands on" experience I know how landscapes are constructed and projects are run. I also have "on the tools" experience of installing garden features constructed from both traditional and contemporary materials as well as many styles of planting and all these factors are reflected in the quality of my designs. As well as working for clients on my own garden designs, I also want to offer my services to other landscape/construction professionals at very competitive rates. I use SketchUp to do the plans. For the renderings, I take 3D images from SketchUp and add the plants in PhotoShop. I use various PhotoShop techniques with art nouveau stencils. I takes ages doing the renderings, but I like them to be a bit "larger than life" because I want them to do the planting justice. I am a fan of science fiction, which probably influences the style. As you can see, I started charging extra for the renderings because they take almost as long as the design! It took me many different attemptsbefore I came up with a "look" that I like.

I only add basic circle outlines for the plants in SU. I found that the 3D models of plants didn't look "plant like" and slowed down my computer. I do some graphic design work to make extra money, so if you need any renderings etc. done, just ask.
