Also, depending on if you intend to put any structural load onto the concrete, using sharp sand, provided you use white cement, will create a nice white stone.
I made some coping stones using sharp sand (I added orange building sand to mine).
My mix was 9 parts sharp sand 1 part orange sand and 3 parts white cement. Extremely solid block.

I also made a lintel using the same method.

What about Derbyshire self-binding?

p.s. if you can't get white limestone with fines included then you can use graded white limestone and incorporate sharp sand and silver sand in the mix.
Hi Sam
Ideally you need white limestone and white cement to create white concrete. Obviously it depends on what finish you wish to create.
If you do a search on Google there are a number of suppliers. Personally I'd look for a supplier which can supply white limestone with all of the fines incorporated.
Here's an example of a white limestone supplier (no affiliation) http://shop.manninghamconcrete.co.uk/product/white-limestone---10mm...
All best

Of course I remember you. Its really good to see your name again. You do come up sometimes as your name is still in my database. I wondered where you are. Good to know. Your drawings and work looks great. I would like to learn Sketchup soon maybe we should talk. I do use AutoCAD. Yes Groundwork is still using LiberRATE though the newer version. I dont know Ross.
Don't know if you remember me! I used to work at Groundwork Leeds and was the first person to use LibeRate there. Do they still use it? Is Ross still there?
At last...you've made it :-0))
Thanks for joining - your products are mentioned quite regularly on LJN so I hope you find the site useful.
Kind regards
