Landscaping Gazebo

Hi There,

Does anyone know where I can hire a landscaping gazebo - the type you see at the shows for working outside undercover?  Can you specific landscaping/ building ones rather than the picnic-ing type?

Many thanks

Melissa

  • I have been through this too, bought a few cheap ones which break very easily and can't really handle the constant commercial use.  In the end I decided to spend the money on a decent one, which was expensive but having had it for 18 months I can definitely say it was worth the extra.  The research I did pointed to the legs being the weak point and so the more expensive ones have hexagonal sectioned legs which are much stronger, I also bought the optional sides with 2 of them being doors.  I looked to try and hire one but couldn't find anywhere that did them.  I can give you details of where I bought mine from if you want, here it is:

3314723597?profile=originalI bought a 6m x 3m from this company, it has had a lot of use in the last 3 years and been exposed to extreme weather in cumbria.  They can get blown around, we have buckets filled with concrete that we take to secure it to the ground as pegging it is not always an option or secure enough.  We had the connectors break one year but these were easily replaced and did not cost much.

  • Thank you, it seems everyone has the same experience - better to get a good quality one.

Good question Melissa, ive been through 3 this year, got 2 cheaper ones from B and Q and they didnt last. I got another pop up one from there that cost £99 and it started to rust and then a bit snapped on the 3rd time I used it because of a little bit of wind.
  • Many thanks Chris, I'll have a look .

  • Hi Rob,

Good to hear from you. My sisters project is underway, which is very exciting - but this weather is a bit of a pain!  I'll have a look at the website you posted - I just feel it might be worth getting one - as you say, it would get used.  Hope all is well with you.

    All the best
