I have been looking out for some up-lighters as part of an electrical spec for a smallish courtyard. The Garden Lighting shop has a curious uplighter that is triggered by a sensor and is run by battery. Has anyone used one of these things?, it is interesting but I'm not sure. On the same area I am looking for a twin outlet watering timer - anyone got any recommendations. Thanks

  • we recently installed an irrigation system on a timer in a garden that we built, hozelock sell pretty much everything you need to design and install a system yourself. we used a 13mm black weep pipe which is fine for runs under 80m long anymore than this and you loose to much pressure for runs over 80m you will require a drip system. follow the link below
as far as the lighting is concerned i have used some low voltage lighting in the past which is really effective these can be purchased from a company called fishtastic.
    hope this helps

  • Hi Ed
we used the digital timer the aqua control pro i believe as that was the one the client wanted and they have had no problems with it.

  • For domestic irrigation, I would recommend Claber over Hozelock any time. Much better quality and more durable. I can point you to an on line supplier if you're interested.
