New formulaton Roundup ProAdvantage released

Monsanto have recently released the latest product in their Roundup portfolio - Roundup ProAdvantage, stating :

"Roundup ProVantage is our latest amenity glyphosate product setting new and improved standards for the market. Continuing from the innovation of Roundup ProBio, this new high load formulation contains 480g/l. Building on the success of ProBio, Roundup ProVantage offers the same technical spec but with an increased loading to reduce packaging waste and ease transportation."

Key aspects I can see are;

- increased active ingrediant in each 5L

- improved rainfastness

- built in hard water efficacy

- wider application window re: weather

and finally (most importantly ?);

- the product is classified as non-hazardous by COSHH and is approved for use in aquatic areas (so easier application in public areas).

As in all things new the take up, I suspect, will be very dependant on price compared to 360 & 450 Roundup's

    You are on the ball here Gary!!

    In terms of pricing, it is virtually pro rata in terms of active ingredient comparing Pro Biactive to Pro Vantage and it is cheaper per gram of active than Pro Bio is.

    And yes Emma, it would certainly kill off the Bamboo!!

    P.S, stock should be available at the end of the month. We will be selling it along Roundup 450 for a few months while customers adjust.
