  That's not a bad price, sorry I can't help much as all of my stockists will only do bareroot. But try wee tree 01823 667338. or winrow 01934 712571. Both are down your way, I have always found Winrow really good size wise.

  Thanks Simon and Hamish. Had one quote for 1.4mt high, nearly fell off the chair £320 per linear mt plus vat, but does include delivery and planting!

  Hi Not sure exactly where you are, but worth trying Holdens Nursery In chichester, its a small grower owned nursery and when i was up that way I used them alot, nice knowledgable people, rare these days!!

  Much as I wanted to reply to this with "You askin?".... I know Andy used a company called Wykeham Mature Plants for some large specimens to fill in a hedge gap: http://www.wykehammatureplants.co.uk/

  Thanks Cat, I looked at their site, costings not too bad. Delivery charge to Essex just blows the budget. But thanks anyway.
  
  P.S. Impressed with your knowledge, suppose that's down to being a Gardener's wife. Not long now before you and Fereday have a sign written van. (Not even going to think what the company will be called cause your idea will be much funnier!)

  Holy..malony..recently put 10 x yews in for a customer, each was about 3 metre !! I didn't realise just how much they might have cost.
