Need User Manual for KAMA KG200 engine in English

Hi Folks,I just lashed out (a relatively small amount) on a rotovator. It's a Chinese job KPC KL300. I've managed to find a user manual for the controls etc. but I need a manual for the engine. Can anyone help by either sending me a scan or .pdf or pointing me to a link on the web. Quite difficult to find. Many thanks,RogerP.S. Assuming this kit's available in UK.

  • Hi Stu,
Thanks for that lead. I had no success in finding a UK dealer. The web site looks like they may not be in business any longer but I'll try phoning them in the morning.
    Thanks again,
    Roger
  • looks like a total rip-off of the honda gx160 5.5hp engine, type in honda gx160 in google and check out the image. im sure the kama kl300 is the 5.5hp. the chinese are very good at their copies, their still doing it with motorcycles and just saw a stihl chainsaw clone.maybe a honda manual will do,but careful when ordering spares. Go to www.made-in-china.com ,to find wuxi worldbest (kama owners)

You're right. They are reconised as a "Honda Copy". Unfortunately I can't afford Honda powered kit on my pension. The locals use them extensively and they are very robust. They are also rebadged by some Italian companies. The cross reference to the Honda model could be useful however. The KAMA web sites are either non existant or hopeless. I've emailed them but not holding my breath.
    Cheers,

  • Just found (and downloaded) a manual for the Honda which should do the job. If I get a problem with it I'll just take it round to the dealer I bought it from but just wanted to make sure I don't unintentionally abuse it. Thanks again.

Woops sorry Roger I just had another peep at the site I linked to and should have spotted the huge 2006 going across the screen lol.
    Hi Stu,
As I managed to get a copy of the manual for the Honda equivalent last night, I'll not bother ringing them. Thanks for taking the trouble to find it anyway. I think I'm sorted now.
    Cheers,
    Roger
