I am planning a trip up North for the end of September, we are going to Liverpool and then onto Yorkshire possibly staying in Harrogate or its surrounds. Harlow Carr is already on the list but where else would you suggest in the Harrogate area or on route from London to Liverpool or Liverpool to Yorkshire. RHS or NT gardens are preffered we are members of both. I consider the drive and the places you pass on the way as part of the day out and would drive for a couple of hours to see a garden. So lets have some ideas please.
