No, I tried out of interest by modifying an old campaign to see if I could. Just didn't happen.
Contentious comment - Phil, if you go down that route - why not make it compulsory to pay for inclusion in this 'advert'. Treat it as paid advertising - but from LJN members
It wouldn't preclude any existing member from continuing to use LJN, use their profile page, blog etc - but by creating an "LJNwords" style advert, those that want to pay to help LJN go forward could, those that are happy with status quo would also be ok.
Just a thought ...and now waiting for the flames...

I'm experimenting here with a drop down box (I can add all the counties in here and link them through to their page on the index). Would it work with just the drop down box or should it have an image banner too?
Gary,
It crossed my mind to make this a premium feature but it would only be effective if enough members signed up for it. It wouldn't look too hot if there were only a sprinkling of firms in the index.
I very much like this image, and would be up for a paying by results (i.e contact) through the drop down box.
Yes to start with there may not be as many people in the list, but that works to the favour of those that are on there.
I think it would be a nightmare to administer on a results only basis Claire.
I think the only way for this to work would be a set fee per year for one insertion with an additional payment for members who want to go in multiple counties.

That looks good. Ultimately, the choice/method/means has to be one that is easily maintainable otherwise admin will be a nightmare for Phil (?).

Phil very kindly provided me with a short term complimentary one a while back and I also ran a little competion for a couple of freebies but it didn't really have any impact. I guess you outdoor types aren't interested in my products :-(
