Hi, just thought I would add this to the growing list of scam contacts trying to con us!  Ignore the following email:

 

Hi

I have just bought a house with half an acre of grounds. Can you please give me a call.

    I think it would be a really good policy if the telephone providers a) warned anyone dialing a premium rate number of the per minute cost and b) delayed payment of funds to premium rate accounts for thirty days and if they received complaints could withold payment. If a scam was suspected, funds could be refunded to the victim until the premium rate account holder had established their legitamamcy.
    c) any phone company not applying these standards should be made to repay the victims any money they had been swindled out of because of the phone companies assistance to the swindler.
