Has anyone got a go to Epimedium for full sun, preferably not the vigourous types. I wanted to use rubrum or orange queen but I am not sure they are ideal for full sun, as Iv only ever used them in semi shade.

Should you always use a lute when levelling topsoil for turfing

Just wondered how many of you use a lute when levelling your soil for turfing?

Very often I have just used a roller and a rake, but feel a lute may provide some extra ability on areas with divots.

Laying patio on poor ground

Hello I have a patio to price up. The patio in question is 30 m2 and is a hand jive job as there is no way to get a micro digger in. My problem is that the topsoil is about 400mm deep and can't get to good ground easily.
