sleepers post depth

hello just been wondering on the minimum depth for sleeper posts.

 

I have been doing alot of patios with sleeper retainment only 1 sleeer high (200mm) and putting the posts in 300mm deep.

i know with a fence etc woud need to be only 1/3 deep but obvios

Adhesive that will stick slate paving to membrane ?

Replace a lawn

So the lawn was originally planted on a gravel bed. The client wants a beautiful green sward of turf.
