Over the last couple of months I've been sorting out my own garden (under orders from the other half) I've put in a new concrete path the length of the garden so Gina can put the washing out without having to walk on the grass, extended the patio, cut down a couple of horrible conifer trees and budjelas,
But most importantly put up a 10 x 8 metal shed on a good concrete base for the mowers and my workshop and a smaller wooden shed too for hand tools etc.
Over the last few evenings I've been fitting strip lighting and a monster of a workbench made by a bloke in the village who builds motorbikes and trikes (I've never heard anyone swear so much!!), it's made from railway sleepers and heavy gauge angle iron, took both of us to lift it up, and it fits in my workshop a treat, fitted my No.6 vice to it and it's great.
Feels good to have a proper workshop again, so if I'm not on here much you know where i am ;-)
I'll take this opportunity to say thanks to Mr Gammage for advice on the concreting Cheers mate!!

Not pink Stephen, a more masculine palette of grey and dark green ;-)
Every man needs a shed. Have you got a hifi in there yet ? Useful if you dont want to hear shouts from the house. Also a kettle is a must!
Just moved house - the Blower and Kombi engine are behind the piano but the shelving goes up this week - I know how you feel (ish) after 2 weeks in the house I'm getting the "move them" warnings.
Talking of sheds ,,, I've just done this one for the old man.. Workshop come store one end and opened fronted the other..
Its 24 foot by 12 foot... Still got a few bits to finish but they will have to wait a week or two.
Took a week to build and the matirials where under a £1000 pounds....
no hi fi as of yet Stuart, no kettle either, but I've been taking a couple of cans in with me so refreshment is sorted ;-)

I've had these 'warnings' myself David, for some reason ladies don't like machinery in the house !!
