Which strimmer for lawn edging with low vibes?

I bought a stihl FS38 recently but it's a bitch on the hands. Has anyone got a recommendation for a machine that can be used vertically (fairly light with a loop handle) with low vibes?Thanks

    I have a Tanaka TBC230S and I think it is really light ,it does not claim to be super low vibes but is pretty smooth .It is also really reliable I had one for three years without so much as a spark plug and it only went wrong with some kind of fuel problem a few weeks ago so I just bought another and will fix up the other for back up ,it is straight shaft I find this makes for a less bent over position for lawn edging and strimming.

    got a Tanaka TBC230S too, very light and smooth great for edging.

    Hi we have used many strimmers
    we have stihl and Makita which is the most used one
    i also supply my guys with anti-vibration fingerless gloves really helps if cutting for long periods

    I'm afraid you get what you pay for.......... it's a dirt cheap model not intended for hours of use and you won't get decent antivibration on it.
