Which mulch push mower?

My old mulcher has had its day. I've bought a mint 2nd hand John Deere JS63V as a replacement, but at the dealers I also noticed an ex-demo Stiga Multiclip Pro 53S SVAN. The Stiga seems to be very strong and sturdy (just like my professional Harry - stonking mower!), but is £200 more.The JD has more power (B&S engine), more height settings, and several speeds, where-as the Stiga has only one speed, but has a rubber mounted engine, single lever height adjustment, rubber wheels, Honda engine etc - loads more features and just seems so well made.Is it worth the extra £200?

    We have 2 stiga multi clip rentals, they are excellent mowers, The forward drive speed is pretty good so to is the finished result. Ours have the stiga engine on them which is a good engine but does use a bit of oil.

    I haven't used the JD so cannot comment unfortunately.

    I have been using a JS63V this season and my verdict is...rubbish!

    Drive has failed very early on and needed a new drive belt. It's rattly and feels tinny, engine gets overwhelmed very easily and the tab on the drive activation bar has also broken meaning the bar swings about and is a bit annoying. I wouldn't buy another.

    Thanks for response. I took the JD back and got the Stiga. Completely different machine. Very quiet, robust and pleasant to use.
