Well done to The Gardenmakers

It's been a good week for LJN members having their work recognised by their industry peers - see Landscape Juice's article Holland Landscapes win Supreme accolade.

Well done to Dave Sewell and Tim Mawle of The Gardenmakers for their success in the £100,000 category in last week's APL awards.

Winning's becoming a bit of a habit for The Gardenmakers having also won the overall Supreme accolade for their success with impressive £200,000 terraced garden designed by Stratford-upon-Avon based designer Sally Hopkinson in the 2009 awards.

  • Thankyou Guys - your kind words are really appreciated.

As some know, It's been a tough few months for my family so it was fantastic to get something good and positive going on. I was especially proud to be able to take Verity with me. A roomful of landscapers and she had the shortest hair of them them all!!

Gary - if folks are interested I'm sure I could organise something. There might be a possibility of taking in the 2009 award winning garden as well.

Rowly - It was actually Sue Adcock who designed this years garden, Sally designed the 2009 winner! Also you very kindly dropped me an email a few weeks back which I WILL reply to!!

    All best,

    Dave

  • Well done guys - great result!

  • Superb work. Dramatic, sympathetic, well executed - if a visit is possible, I'd be up for it if I can make it. Well done to all concerned.

      • Looks the business, very impressed, simple yet stunning.

Not really a paving fan, I just do the green stuff.  However, the paving works with the green stuff.

Thanks for posting the photo Dave, keep up the good work.
