  • Is it causing you any problems Anthony?

I don't think I need to say too much Anthony :-0))

These companies scan public forums and send out the emails like this - there appears to be an element of research because the domain name (LJN in this case) is included.

    Unsolicited spam IMO.
  • All this crap is spam...hell they can't even get your target market right...like you're going to load up the truck and do some landscaping in Germany.!!!

Makes me wonder just how stupid the people that spam are and more so for the people that actually reply, dumb, dumb and dumber - I often wonder if some people can actually feed themsleves unassisted.
  • I haven't had that one but since joining LJN the other day my junk folder has been busier than usual. Perhaps our email addresses are too visable?

I get very little spam in my inbox - I let the spam filter do the work.
  • Being part of LJN has so far caused me no spam problems :)

I get no spam from LJN

Havent seen the email from MSEO Inc. and if I did I would reply and say thanks but no thanks.. and then spam filter it!

Never reply - you go onto a active list which will steadily spiral...and only one way. You are not being rude by not replying the people (if you can call them that) that spam are scum. Scum, which cost businesses and individuals throughout the world vast sums of money.
  • I have just checked and I have 24 spam emails in that directory (Gmail) over the period 15 September to today, half of which I have ticked as not spam and returned to the inbox.

Because of Phil kindly featuring the show on both LJ and LJN (including hyperlinks), if it were true that there is some sort of way that LJN is exposing us to spam, this, plus my posting and also my show blogs would make me a bigger potential target than most.

Clearly there is no problem related to LJN.

  • I don't get much in the way of spam but certainly it's a pain in the a**e and the less the better.

I was sure that loads of other people would of received this junk because it specifically mentions LJN and assumed they would of pulled email addresses from most members on here. Maybe i'm just lucky...... not!
