  • Am currently on a course that will finish in December, have my CS31 assessment tomorrow. Am looking to leave gardening behind and go fully into tree work with a colleague. CS38 and 39 in a few weeks time. Am based in suffolk though, bit of a journey to your neck of the woods!
  • 3 hrs lol - not a big job/type of tree ! i agree, could do it with a silky/or hand-saw in 40mins :/

only a week or 2 ago i was watching somebody take down a laburnum,3hrs to hit the deck for what i would class as probably 30 minute job to get on the ground. they were fully kitted out and completley fecking useless tbh. cuts in wrong directions, an obviously blunt saw, no idea how to position or tie a rope on a branch for his mate to pull, definitly a case of all the gear no idea. i dropped a laburnum a couple of days later similar size took 20 mins to get on the deck and another 45 minutes to clear up.
  • remember to put face -shield down on helmet !! good luck remember training and you will pass.
