4250 is a lot of money but still probably cheap in today's market you would probably give the guys of 3 grand for something small and second hand the way things are!
Four years ago I was looking on EBay for a “nice little trailer” and ended up buying a Daihatsu Hijet pickup aka a Piaggio Porter which I still have in addition to my van, much to the amusement of family and friends.

Hi indispensions are brilliant
Brian James is worth looking at Ivor Williams are great but a little pricey
we've had indidpension for 10 yrs already been offered £2k more than we paid rediculous
good luck
Have you considered non tipping. The tippers are quite a bit more than the flatbeds. I've got Ifor 8x5 flatbed. Built my own sides from marine ply that don't rattle or catch things like mesh sides and remove just as quick. Load cover made up for over top to keep things dry. No tipper not really a problem. Some things take a bit longer to unload but fine for me. Load bed is lower than tipper whch is perfect height for shovelling/dragging things off. Mine is 2000kg as thats all my van will tow but still takes a tonne plus as trailer is approx 600kg inc ramps. I use it nearly everyday. Takes approx 1 tonne green waste fully loaded up to top of ply sides, building materials , long lengths of timber up to 4.8metres, motorbikes, playhouses, fencing, anything really. Great tool, super versatile and well worth the money i paid for it new. I wouldn't be without it and dont think i would pay the extra now for a tipper.
How do you manage Trailer security they are so easy to steal?
Bull Dog hitch lock.
