"Andrew, we use a bit more oil than 50:1. CAUTION Echo are specific to which spec of oil to use don't use red ! We have used Stihl semi synthetic since new and both blowers have been fine.

Not aware of a hip belt being available, but necessary, we use a bungee cord doubled up between the straps and this…"
