The Worlds biggest spade

I was delivering to one of my garden centre customers yesterday. Whilst waiting to be unloaded I saw a large spade being assembled nearby by a chap from Bulldog tools, he was struggling a bit with bolting the handle on so I gave him a hand.

I looked it up on google this morning and here is the link, The worlds biggest spade it really is very big and they would probably need Desperate Dan to demonstrate it.

...and here's how Bulldog Tools made it :)

  • You can't beat good hot metal work.

    nice bit of metalwork?

  • or Robert is you uncles friend
  • I know it's not a fashionable point of view but I believe this is how wealth is really created taking a piece of metal and a piece of wood and adding value to it by fashioning into a useful (in the case of the normal size version) tool. It's not very pretty and hot dirty work but for me (obviously) it is what creativity is all about.
