How do I join the Marshall Register?

Many landscapers are looking for strength across their brand and bolt on products and services.

One particular avenue open to established landscapers is with a specialist group such as the Marshalls Register.

Here is information provided to me today by Gemma Chappell who is the Domestic Marketing Manager for Marshalls Landscape Products.

Below are details of the Marshalls Register and membership criteria. The Register was originally set up in response to consumer concern over the difficulty in finding good, reliable labour for garden and driveway projects. Our members are fully independent and are not under obligation to purchase from Marshalls, however, we experience high loyally in the use of our products due to our superior service and quality product offering available through an extensive national network of merchants.

The Marshalls Register of Approved Landscape Contractors and Driveway Installers is a national network of highly reputable professionals. All are independent businesses and are strictly vetted by Marshalls to ensure that the highest possible standards of installation are maintained.

An annual membership fee, currently £300+VAT is charged.

All members will be able to claim to be approved and recommended by Marshalls and will be included on the list known as Marshalls Register of Approved Landscape Contractors and Driveway Installers. Similarly all members will be able to claim membership of the Marshalls Register and display the Marshalls logo.

Benefits of being an installer also include:

* On-going free product offers
* Exclusive training on specialist areas
* Approval by Marshalls as detailed above

* Exclusive use to use Marshalls Register Logo
* Marketing and Sales collateral including sign boards, van stickers, product presenters, promotional flyers, free supply of brochures year round

  • I have been a Marshalls registered Member since it was introduced some 7 years ago and agree in principle with the strict guidelines members agree to abide by.
    Of course as in all Corporate Membership schemes not all persons would qualify with their own standard of works.
    The Marshalls Register is for all tradesmen who agree to abide by the rulings or manifest which basically outlines that all works will be carried out to the highest standards acheivable weather using Marshalls Products or other Material and in accordance with upto date date building regulations and control.
    People removed from the Register are removed for not upholding to that which they agreed to as with any organisation such as FMB, Corgi etc..
    Using a person on the Marshalls Register does give the customer and contractor some piece of mind when things do not go quite to plan.

    I am very satisfied with the register and would direct any landscaper to join, it really is beneficial to your business and possible future contracts.
