Aah, what a good garden clearance today. Got all sorts done, the highlight for me was clearing a large area of scrub in 15 minutes with the 56. Good thing was the scrub then turns to mulch and saves a lot of time bagging and clearing! A couple of mows later it'll be perfect.

    PS Obviously I had to cut and bag the edges! Might even see them turn back into borders this season as I have been given the maintenance of the garden now.

    Blade was fine Graeme... the machine doesn't cut fine grass, just munches it's way through stuff like that and long grass jobs. There were no stones in the main overgrown area which surprised me.

     

    It simply does a far neater job than a brushcutter without so much clearing-up time afterwards. Also it chews up long stringy grass that otherwise wraps around and clogs the b/c.

    Got the kawasaki 9hp engine, 290cc.
