    Hi,

I've used this nursery in Ham, Richmond (not far from National Trust's Ham House). Although their specialist area is Palms, they do a reasonable selection of Shrubs etc

    The Palm Centre (www.palmcentre.co.uk)
    Ham Central Nursery
    Ham Street, Ham
    Richmond, Surrey
    TW10 7HA

In addition to their stock of unusual plants which is fantastic (a good place for some inspiration..), it a good area for an enjoyable walk - near the River Thames, Richmond Park, Ham House etc !

    Hope this helps

  • Near Twickenham, albeit in the wrong direction is Sempervirens, Whitton. They're a proper wholesale only nursery and must be one of the closest to central London (in the West. Possibly!?). I have used them when working in the area and found them pretty helpful. Fairly wide range of plants and trees in stock normally.
