I've got the pick time. It ok depending on what you want to do with it. Works ok as a mechanical hoe. If you want to cut deeper it takes a bit more perseverance.
More controlable with the multi engine, cuts deeper plus there's an extra weight kit. Normally have to go over the ground with a rake after to tidy.
Not used the Stihl kombi tines but the mantis is very efficient at cultivating and digging holes .
Have used it to break through hard ground where other machines have failed to scratch the surface
I did pick up an old Stihl mm55 the grass tines are a beast , very powerful versatile wheeled machine , I believe you can get cultivating tines to fit , found it to be a good investment , seems to do the job first pass as HB above again a weight kit is an optional extra .
I have a Mantis. Wonderful piece of kit & mine is over 20 years old. But I also have the pick tines on a combi & I find it excellent - I rarely use the Mantis now.
