With so many new users joining LJN in the last couple of months, it's worth restating how important and useful the private groups are on this site, especially if there are sensitive business or industry issues up for discussion.
It's been expressed only this weekend how uncomfortable some of you feel about discussing price sensitive information in the public domain because it's felt the content might impact upon you personally or collectively as a group.
Take the Business Key Objectives group for example. When you are logged in as a member, it would appear that all of the information you see is also visible to a casual visitor to the site.
However (see the graphic) all that the casual visitor is able to see when they click on the link is just the group headline and all the group's sensitivity is locked behind its log-in.
For the future, if you feel you'd like help with understanding prices, estimating, quoting - or another subject you'd rather not have one of your clients be able to read - then join the Business Key Objectives group and ask the question in there.
