Multi year parish contracts

I have been asked by one of my local parish coucils to quote for their grass cutting contract. This in its self is not too bad, but it is the first 3 year tender I have been asked to complete.

What I was woundering is what would be a good % to increase it by every year?

I was thinking around 15% as you never know what is comming! But is that too high or too low. some of the figures are jumping quite a bit at this rate.

  • I should have said, there are 3 coloums for the 3 different years. For the total cost of the cuts for that year for each peice of grass.
  • 10%   ample -   p/a
  • I normally apply a 10% p/a increase to commercial maintenance contracts, just make sure that the remit is tight and that you stick to it.  It can be very easy to be dragged into the "while you're here could you just do......" and this is where you could start to loose money, this is especially important if you have staff working for you.
