Meeting up at RHS Chelsea Flower Show

Not able to get to the show myself but thought I'd start a thread so that people can say when they are attending, and maybe meet up with other Landscape Juice Network members.

    I have also completed some freelance work for the RHS (Chelsea Show) and will be able to provide a link from Monday as it is not live yet.

    I would love to go but next best will be to hear about it.  I read in the London Evening Standard that they have sold out but there is a draw laurent-perrier with a gnat's chance of winning one. There does seem to be a kitchen garden/growing food theme to it. That and water pools.  Which garden have you been working on Phil, are we allowed to know yet?

    I've worked on 9 gardens with the designers to produce 2m x 1m planting plans, using the top ten plants from each Chelsea garden that you can download from the RHS website for home use. I've included an elevation sketch of each plan to help visualise the bed.

    I shall be there on Friday too Gary. I love Chelsea! Just got the guide and the show gardens look as amazing as ever, can't wait to see them. The British Heart Foundation one looks interesting as does the SkyShade garden which is a home office powered by photovoltaics and surrounded by biodiverse planting.

    I will have a look at those on the RHS website then or you could post the link? I wonder how they choose the top ten plants especially when there is a lot of discussion about finding plants that can adapt to a hotter drier climate, I guess they are all different themes? Did you chose the plants?

    unfortunatly I wont be going now as my staff have been ill all week and we have a very tight deadline to meet .

    Bummer have a top time all who go ,dont for get to swing by and say hello to Lisa at quercus,take her a cold beer she we need by the end the week.
