me to david but i use cooper peglar handles on mine they are much better but the problem is the prices are just going stupid. For example a new handle is 27 pound plus vat now. Matabi sprayers are only 20pound more and IF they do a good job are are comfy i will change i think
  • this is true and i fully agree but somewhere youy have to draw the line on the price increase is terrible

I have a Berthoud vermorel pro comfort and two CP2000s.

The berthoud is worth the extra £30 or so over the CP and the £150 price tag, I would buy another. Build and ergonomics are better but most importantly the padding on the berthoud is superb. It is this padding or lack of it that would put me off using anything else.

If you want another cheap option to consider also look at solo..... IMO they are alright although not on a league with berthoud.
  • use cooper peglar lances if you want to pay the price they are better

agree with the berthoud. loads more comfortable over any other knapsack but i think the lance is a bit poxy compared to the rest of it

  • I see you can get the Matabi for about £56 (inc VAT) which seems extremely cheap for a 20L sprayer but my question is, do you guys really use 20L sprayers filled ? I have 15L sprayers and I only charge them with 10L because of the weight although I admit that good shoulder straps would make a difference.
  • just used the sprayer for the first time today and im surprised how comfy and well it fits. It is also very van friendly with handles folding up, and the little space it takes is amazing. Hopefully another full day tomorrow with the rain fast in the weedkiller should help me tell you more
