Left handed brush cutters?

Yesterday, during a DART training session of some new apprentices, one asked about Left handed strimmer/ brush cutters. Using it left handed the exhaust came staight back at him.I enquired of Stihl technical department & they said, they are all made right handed & that left handed people learnt to use them right handed-not too difficult apparantly. Was the student just trying to waste time, or do left handed people have a real problem with this & presumably other outdoor power tools, & are there lefthanded o/d power tools available?

    my step-bro used my stihl with scrub-cutter on ok yesterday / he is left handed !

    i suspect a moaning & lazy timewaster might be the truth !! give him a shovel or fork instead !
