I admit for straight forward leaves on a large area of lawn I get the big mower out... very thorough and quick. For clearing debris from shrub beds though there is no equal to the blower. Everything gets thrown onto the lawns to be mowed up.
I too used to have complaints from some customers that seemed to hate it, Due to noise but they would say that it creates dust as well.
I used the hand one espcialy on big drives.
I remember that I used to maintain many gardens of buildings- in a city on same road so I had a full day with a whole team there- and to the point the noise that road had just from gardeners was really a night mare.
( things were growing really fast there and you could every day hear the professionals gardening tools-( hedge cutters, blowers, strimmers). I am few years away from it and do not miss the noise.
Funny movie Dan, btw did you have a good holiday?
i do 4 regular sites in london, 20 mins on each one with a blower every fortnight.
nothing else will do the job ! - it saves the clients say 30 mins extra time to pay = £30 saving to them ...
