Lawn edging

Hi I am sure I read on Landscape juice something about lawn edging but now can't find the discussion.   I wonder if anyone can help.  I plan to use some metal lawn edging within a sloping planting scheme to give me 'hidden' mini retaining walls and halt the movement of water and soil down the slope.  I looked at everedge and it seems quite expensive £33 for 5x1m length 5" high metal and about £2 less for trade than retail.  Has anyone used anything else or is this the best product?
