Well, I just had confirmed that one of my young members of staff has been accepted into the first batch of students doing the new C&G Landscape Apprentice scheme at our local landbased college.

He's really excited and we are all pleased.

Now he just has a year of being at college 1 day a week and a load of evidence based training to record with us - oh joy ;-)

    Excellent. I have employed apprentices in the past and last year I had another member of staff graduate from college with a Comendation for her RHS Level 2 which was on a carried out on a one-day-per-week basis.

     I hope you find it as rewarding as I have done!

    make sure he's got a camera with him at all times, - really needed for the evidence gathering, and warn him he'll be in trouble if there's a single pic of him without the right H&S wear (speaking from experience from a lad that did Nvq's when with me)
