Horsetail in lawns...

I know that it is an absolute pig to get rid of at the best of times but PLEASE can someone tell me something that has worked for horsetail in a lawn?!

I know that, if the horsetail is split, you can get weedkiller into it (although this isn't guaranteed to get rid!) but I obviosly need something that won't kill the lawn.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Phil,
We have done some trials and found SBK & Kplus (water conditioner & anti drift adjuvant) to work well on horsetail/ marestail and being selective it is safe for grass. Regular cutting beyond the initial sporulating shoot stage combined with SBK works well to limit spread in future years if tackled consistently
