Gardeners wanted for new C4 TV programme 'The Village'

I had a call from TV production company Studio Lambert about a new C4 TV show that's giving away a house in a Yorkshire village to someone who is looking to opt out of the rat race and move to a rural village for a quieter and more rewarding way of life - the winner will be the one who is selected by the community in the village where the winner is to relocate to. Jo Smith tells me that the producers are looking for tradesmen...here is their info: " As discussed, I work for Studio Lambert, an independent television production company, and we’re making a new series for Channel 4 which will give individuals, couples and families the opportunity to WIN a home in the countryside. I was thinking that this might be something of interest to people who visit your site – particularly as we know that people in the village are keen for gardeners or tradespeople to live in the village. The series will follow the participants while they relocate to a village for a week and sample their potential new life and home. The local residents have the deciding vote on who wins the family home and becomes the newest resident of their village. During the week’s filming participants will collectively and individually get involved in village life, meeting the residents and demonstrating to them why they would be a valued member of their community. This exciting opportunity is open to anyone over the age of 18 and everyone is encouraged to apply. With the prize being a family home it would be great to extend this opportunity to people who are not yet on the property ladder and would relish the prospect of moving into their very own home, mortgage free.
