Funding business and private vehicles - the options

Just sorting a vehicle and one of the leasing companies I'm dealing with sent me this reallyuseful fundingguide.pdf showing how different ways of funding a vehicle are reflected in your business accounts and their VAT status.

 

Good reference stuff....

    Thanks Gary,

     

    In particular the outright purchase capital allowances figure is helpful for me. I'm looking at purchasing another van in the next few of weeks (Renault Trafic or equivelant) before April deadline. 

    Don't like the idea of leasing, although would help cash flow. Prefer to own outright, but have to drive from Cornwall up to London to get a van as they are generally £1000 to £1500 more expensive down here ! There's a business opportunity for someone!

    try achor vans www.anchorvans.co.uk in Reading on the A4 - they will deliver free upto 150miles or money back if not happy with van (do 2nd hand or pre-reg vans)
