Email Marketing

I was following a discussion on a Linkedin group on which I am a member when I followed a link to this landing page e mail marketing cheat sheet . It seemed to me to be such a really good example of a marketing landing page that I thought I would share it with you.

It is not selling landscaping services, garden maintenance or for that matter garden arches but it could be, it could be selling anything. In exchange for your email address you are gaining free information, the offer implies urgency to make you respond quickly. It uses text boxes with a dashed line border (johnson boxes) to emphasise important points the layout is clear and you tend to read through it all. Once the email address is obtained and permission gained then follow up e mails will follow, then it is purely a numbers game, a 1% response rate for the follow up offers, if there are a thousand subscribers will produce ten new potential customers.
